Gm. Started my day under my truck fixing an exhaust clamp that had lost its bolt. Now it doesn’t rattle obnoxiously at idle. BTW, so glad I saved that random bolt from 17 years ago and kept it safe for a purpose like this! I’m not a hoarder, I’m a thoughtful forward thinking conscientious planner who sees the potential in things that others don’t 🤪 (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!) #diy #mechanical

Have just started a 20km hike in this environment. It’s a coastal trek that can only be done at a very low tide. 😊

Gm. Lots of little fiddly jobs on the cards today. Usually not my fav type of work day. I don’t like the cognitive load that comes with switching between multiple tasks. I really do like the sessions where I can sink my teeth into something for 4+ hours at a time. Still, I’m grateful for this to be my current challenge. It could be way worse. 🙏

I have been busy the last few weeks “fortifying” my position on a number of fronts. I have a fairly high conviction that there is a “new normal” coming that will be, at least in my little corner of the world, fundamentally disliked.

Gm! I have been stretched in all sorts of directions these last few weeks. Can’t say I’m thrilled about it but I know it’s just a phase. There is a familiarity about this experience, a ramping up of the intensity of both my own and my people’s life experiences. If nothing else, it is an opportunity to practice being the observer, that part of me that is separate from the noise. Have a great day folks! 🙏
