"#BITCOIN TAKES HUMAN GREED AND TRANSFORMS IT INTO FREEDOM" - This is my favourite quote from this wonderful interview. I wonder does @Gigi mean that there is one group of people (The greedy group) who use Bitcoin with greed as their motivation, whilst at the same time there is a second group (The freedom group) who use bitcoin with freedom as their motivation? The thing is I have noticed both sides of this dynamic operating in myself personally on an individual level. It is as if my own greed brought me to Bitcoin. But now, all of a sudden I am going through some kind of conversion experience where I feel the greed side of me reducing whilst the motivation for freedom is becoming much more pronounced. Has anybody else felt this? I would be interested to hear your experiences. I guess Gigi is suggesting this occurs both on the individual and collective levels perhaps? It's kind of his signature move, right? Crop circles are these incredible designs that just appear out of nowhere. No one knows who makes them. They're beautiful, a bit magical, and mysterious. Kind of sounds like Bitcoin, doesn't it? Both #cropcircles and #Bitcoin aren't just about changing landscapes or economies; they're about altering our consciousness. This weekend, I heard a lot of brilliant people say a many brilliant things about Bitcoin, a few voices echoed louder in my heart, inspiring me to share something deeply personal here on #nostr Michael @npub15dql...lm5m said, "Bitcoin is for everyone," a reminder that this journey includes each of us, in our unique ways. @jack emphasized that embracing a decentralized platform is a choice—a decision to truly be ourselves. If i want it to exist (which I do) I need to use it. @Erik Cason asked, "Who could I truly be if I was free?" while @Tomer Strolight spoke of Bitcoin as the beginning of our own purification, not just financially but spiritually and psychologically. Their words resonated with me, you see, I’m not a developer, or a technologist, but I AM someone who has been profoundly changed by the ethos of Bitcoin. I am a meditation guy, a consciousness explorer. So, I'm sharing a meditation, a simple 15-minute pause from the relentless stream of thoughts, a journey from mind to heart. It's my gift to you, hoping to add a bit of peace, a moment of introspection, and maybe, a step towards realising our purest selves in this shared journey of transformation. This is the real me, sincerely offering a piece of myself to a community that has given me so much. I just watched HodlHang9 and it's so amazing that I have to give it my highest recommendation and express my heartfelt gratitude. It's like being in a room with the brightest minds in Bitcoin, yet it feels as intimate and friendly as a chat with close friends. Two moments in this episode really struck a chord with me: 1. @Robert Breedlove Insightful Moment (48:10): When Robert delves into the 'false dichotomy of left and right' and our power to redefine meanings, it's not just insightful – it's transformative. The conversation elevates to an entirely new level of depth and understanding. 2. @Erik Cason Poetic Freeze (2 hr 10mins 56secs) Erik ends his beautiful channeled rant from a higher dimension, it’s like a Bitcoin poem that ends with "ONLY YOU CAN DO IT," And then his Zoom freezes. It's as if the universe itself is highlighting the importance of his words. It's a magical and memorable moment. Please check it out, it genuinely feels special. A huge shoutout to all four HodlHangers: Robert, Erik, @johnkvallis and AmericanHODL. Your discussions are enlightening, helping me learn more about #Bitcoin and, importantly, more about myself. Because after that conversion, there's a radical new perspective of the world that allows for it to be totally different! Yet somehow the same. And it's interesting because there's a passage from Walter Benjamin where he talks about what the world looks like after the eschaton. He says, everything is exactly the same but slightly different; and that's one of the things about Bitcoin………. It’s that, all of the same things that seemed so maniacal and hateful and destroying of humanity, there's now this strange little inversion that can happen where, just like how bitcoin is a trap door out of the bottom of hell. It Changes that perspective! And it allows for an ability for us to actually rescue ourselves from the circumstances. And to me…….. like this is the most important part…… It’s that like, very similar to the religious conversion…….. ONLY YOU CAN DO IT!”
