We went to Monteverde and was checking out some places to stay. We found this place on Expedia and decided to look at it before booking. The owner happened to be there and bc it was a last minute booking , he offered 100$ a night in cash rather than the usual 150$ through Expedia. I told him we didn’t have cash but could pay him using SINPE. He was very surprised and asked twice “ you can pay in SINPE??” So I showed him and also offered to send him info on ₿ which he says he will definitely look into.
