Well it comes down to this. The majority of my wealth is in houses. This is from my wife and her parents I don’t feel it’s right to change this. I don’t have confidence that this is going to protect my children so I’ve put at least 30% of our wealth into bitcoin. Not going great at the moment but any spare cash I have is going into bitcoin even though my wife doesn’t know about this. I just think that it’ll be wrong to leave my kids without Bitcoin when I feel it’s going to be the settlement layer of the future. This is the thin red line. I could be gambling my children’s future on my obsession or I could be protecting their future. Time will tell. I think @HODL would understand.

I joined UpScrolled recently. I agree with the sentiment of censorship resistant social media. But the inability to zap is such a bummer. I don’t think we realise how far ahead NOSTR is compared with other social media sites. We’re spoiled here.
