Leaving Twitter/X and its questionable algo feels like the best decision I’ve made in regards to social media. Since the dawn of being purple-pilled, I’ve ditched tiktok, instagram, facebook, and snapchat. But Twitter/X was the hardest to let go with its real-time news updates at my fingertips. Nostr is slowly but steadily getting there, but I’d take #nostr any day if I didn’t have to painfully sift through toxic sludge of advertisements & worthless information of crap from bot accounts I didn’t choose to follow. Nostr is a beautiful, safe haven filled with fresh breath of clean, cold air. The sheer amount of authenticity, in-depth academia, and collectives of train of thought from all walks of life is just pure bliss to witness amidst the chaotic, divisive world we live in today.
