There’s a lot of nuance to open-source. Players like AWS really love taking open licensed commons and not giving back to the community. Also FYI, the OSI is a central authority.

Excellent episode. IMO we should stick to being “too honest” about the real user counts. Once people and businesses see that they get more value/ROI and REAL engagement out of Nostr, the advertised numbers won’t matter. In fact, telling the truth while showing better results will eventually pull the rug out of all the faked numbers and become a scandal for the old guard…
