There was some icy snow remnants on the ground where we got our Christmas tree today, so I made sure our son got to experience it a little bit. My husband agreed and brought a little piece into the car before I was able to get out at first, and then I asked him to take some pictures of us while I crouched in a snowy patch, and I grabbed a piece so our son was able to touch with one hand. He didn't recoil, so that was cool (pun intended 😇🤣) He is half Swedish after all! The land with 6 month of snow, at least where I grew up in the north.

We all got Christmas trees today. Our is about 1 foot tall 😎 it's great! As we were getting ready to leave, 2 cars with trees on the roofs drove by, the 2nd had a tiny one they strapped to the roof as if it was a full sized 🤣🤗 it was great! We kept our inside, but technically on the roof of the car seat 😇😎🎄

This is my edgy phase... it lasted 1 day 🤣

Some of my relatives sent some things with my mom for our son. Well, it's quite chilly here at night and most things that fit our son are short sleeved and shorts. We did get one long sleeved shirt a few sizes too big, but I put it on him today and rolled up the sleeves so he could at least have his arms covered. I'm pretty sure it's from my mom's cousin when her son was little, but eating solids age, as it came with some food stains down the front 😅 our son has the same name as her son, (my 2nd cousin) so that's kinda fun. (Her daughter had a son in March and his name is my brothers name, so we swapped baby brother names 🤣) I put a blanket over him as we went to town, but he really likes getting his arms out, so I'm really thankful we have this shirt! 🤗

Now our son has met everyone! We got home, thinking we were gonna go take a nap after my husband got up at 3am to do an English lesson before then going to do manual labor for his dad for many hours. But then the last family arrived so we went to say hi and then one family after the other joined until everyone was there, even my mom and brother! 🤗 Out of the cousins, the almost 7 year old and 3 year old got to hold him first. 😎👶

Just looked down on a note I'd written a couple of weeks ago that mentiones our son being 7 weeks old... eh, somehow he turned 12 weeks yesterday?!?😱🤯

Hubby's watching some video of a guy making a road using a big vehicle. Our 12 week old son is watching too. I was holding him but had to lay him dow fir a moment to do something, and he started whining. I picked him back up so he could keep watching, and now he's satisfied 🤣

Now we're home again. The US grandma was supposed to go to sleep at 8pm then if we weren't back yet, she could give him to his Swedish grandma and we got home around 8:20pm, but the upstairs lights were still on, so we went upstairs. Apparently he had eaten but it wasn't enough so then he cried for quite a while. She thought it was cause it was too warm so she took him to one of the back rooms and when he calmed down they'd been talking. He started talking to her again while we were there and we got it on video! He was staring right at her, smiling and "talking", it was adorable! Clearly, they are now friends! We had fun being out.
