While we were out I got a few bags of feed for the ducks, and fed them when I got home. Tonight was restful, and I was just wasting time on “X.” I have strawberries to pick tomorrow, and rhubarb, too. I looked on Google, and found it is best to blanch rhubarb for a minute before storing it in the freezer. Well, goodnight, friends! I don’t think I’ll be in there much this weekend - we will be gone a lot of tomorrow and Sunday. And I have to pick & process both strawberries & Rhubarb. I’ll be at a 4H car wash fundraiser tomorrow morning with my family. I read that the forecast is calling for a high temp of 61. I expect to be chilly. Hopefully nobody gets goofy and decides to spray the adults! Anyway, I am going to turn in for the night in a few minutes - sleep well!

I found a lot bickering, sensational stories, and “Stupid” instead. And Steak ‘n Shake’s dancing cows? Nah… Well, it looks cloudy outside now, but The Weather Channel says we may see the sun sometime today. They’re also forecasting 51% chance of rain and high temp of 71. I hope your Friday goes well. I think I’m done outside. It has been misting outside for the past few hours, and I am losing interest in pulling thistles with bare hands. It hurts. I’m not sure what is next, but I’ll find something to do, or trouble to make. 😈 I hope everybody is having a great day!

I'm finishing up the last of my coffee ☕, and some book work, then I'll be outside to weed the raspberry patch and do morning things with our ducks. Well, NOSTR Friends, the sun has set here in northern Ohio, and I am getting ready to head inside for the night. I finished weeding along my grapevines, weeded around the rhubarb, and started weeding the overgrown raspberry patch. It is amazing how quickly weeds grow! I used to roll my eyes when Mom likened weeds to bad habits that take root in an undisciplined life. Now my kids carry on the traditional eye-roll when I say the same things Mom told me those many years ago. Anyway…as of now I plan to work in the raspberry patch tomorrow. Weeding and tidying up rows, etc. I straightened out my Strike account - I did something incorrectly when verifying my ID (poor lighting & blurry photo when I uploaded my ID). So, now that that’s resolved I can get back to daily DCA after the first of the month Well, I’ve rambled on enough. Good night, everybody! Sleep well!

I got a late start this morning, so I’m going to the kitchen in a minute to start brewing a pot of coffee. ☕️🎉 The weather looks nice today: 68 and sunny now, with a high temp of 71, with 34% chance of rain. I’m going outside to finish weeding around the grape 🍇 vines and strawberry 🍓 plants. Then I’ll look at what I can do with the garden. I grilled burgers, hotdogs, and couple tiny buffalo stakes tonight. Supper tasted really good!

Good night, NOSTR Friends! I'm about ready to turn in for the night. My family and I went to a nice park today, where pictures were taken, notes made, and plants researched. I enjoyed observing the wide range of birds I saw today. From the mighty Bald Eagle, to the tiniest songbird I remember ever seeing - smaller than a sparrow - God's creativity is abundantly evident! After seeing to masterpieces He made (numerous birds, bugs, turtles, flowers, trees, and more!), I am even more overwhelmed with His boundless creativity! I would post pics from our outing today, but, sadly, I didn't take many - my wife did that, and the photos she takes look better than my photos... I hope you all had a great day, and get good rest tonight! It's back to the mines in the morning, so take care and sleep well, Friends!
