Anyone here have experience using chlorine dioxide for health benefits? I’m reading Dr. Pierre Kory’s book on it. Absolutely insane how it might even be more helpful than ivermectin. Abso-stinkin-lutely in this rabbit hole. Someone throw me a rope!

Good morning everyone ☕️ Someone once told me that cold foam doesn’t go on hot coffee. I beg to differ

I’ve been thinking recently just how the simplicity of hospitality is no longer a thing. How fun it used to be to get invited to someone’s house… for a meal, for dessert, for the kids play date. But now it doesn’t seem to be in anyone’s bag of fun things to do. Yes, it means I have to clean house, at least some. Yes it means I have to serve something. But men (and I am talking to you men) there is no reason we can’t lead in this. We can encourage this in our family. The blessings of hospitality are many. Christian, are you given to hospitality? Romans 12:13 says we should be. But before you go into panic mode remember: it doesn’t really matter what you serve. Just do it with love. Your gift to your guests IS your hospitality. It is the fact that you care enough to want to know them more. They (usually) will be thankful. They know how hard it can be to invite guests into their own home. I recently wanted to know more about the history of coffee. For today, here is a public domain artwork, The Coffee Bearer by John Frederick Lewis (1857).

So I used to use nostr to write fun and interesting stuff and then.. I know it can do much more but it wasn’t much fun anymore. I thought I was just getting tired of social media. Then @Logen shows me what he made, Nostr Vault, that is a Nostr client AND a Nostr relay. He built it because he wanted to decentralize the storage of his own notes to his own system. That just makes sense. Why don’t we all do that? I’m testing it now and so far it’s going great! Thanks Logen for building it and making nostr fun again. #nostr @ODELL

GM! I found a nice gently used kids guitar at the local thrift. This will be my kid’s second one. First one he beat on pretty good, neck is broken, missing a couple strings now. He now knows if he were ever to get a new guitar he’d have to treat it much better than his last one. He’s all in, so he says. Recently he’s been listening to the BeeGees and today he’s into “You Should Be Dancin’”. Thankful for this kid, who doesn’t whine about not enough time on a device. Just pivots to something else like playing “music”. Cultivating low time preference takes time. Seeds sown develop slowly, but it’s the most valuable time I’ve spent. Absolutely rich beyond measure. Also teaching humility which doesn’t come naturally to our sinful flesh. Anyway, that and homemade sourdough toast, @Oshi butter and good conversation with my boys makes this a day to remember. ☕️ Doesn’t always look like this but today this is productivity this morning. Building character, one hour, one day at a time.

Ok all yall nostr peeps. I followed every last one of you that follow me. I know it could end badly, but nostr has been a mostly positive experience so far. Been really hoping for something great regarding school for my youngest daughter. She has special needs. It’s pretty rough right now as we don’t think the school that she’ll be attending will be able to help her as much as she needs. Could be worse though. Anyway, God is good all the time, even when things look hopeless. We’re just going to enjoy our green smoothie and call it good.

Once in a great while I get a really good idea. It’s rare enough that I’d come up with something this good. And then… I wake up at 3am thinking about it… and realize that this idea needs to be patented here in the US, soon. That’s the time frame I’m in at the moment. So if you know of a decent to excellent person who happens to be an intellectual property attorney please reach out. My experience of attorneys is not generally great so I’m praying to be pleasantly surprised. It’s in this nostr sphere of social media that I believe is more authentic than previous goes at it, I submit this request.
