After some missteps early on, playing with shitcoins and losing my original stake when an exchange went down, I realized there was NGU potential which made me start studying the thing and DCAing back in. The kind of topics covered in @Trust Revolution was the stuff that really grew my conviction and made me a bitcoin maxi and sparked an interest in freedom tech. If you're still not subscribed to @Trust Revolution you should do it now. I've been a happy #grapheneos user for a little over year now. @Max gives an excellent summary on why that's a great choice plus a few recommendations (I tweaked a couple of settings, too, after reading this). I would add as a pro also the ability to install apps from unofficial sources ( @Zapstore was mentioned which I use also) even if Google starts limiting this on regular Android. That restriction combined with banning encrypted messaging apps from the Play store is not even that far fetched. Stay safe and don't carry your phone everywhere, especially protests etc!
