Apple is closed, permissioned system. You gotta ask nicely to be there, and if they don't like they kick you out (or force you to pay 30%). It's absolutely incompatible with the open-source ethos and sovereignity of an individual. Just leave that shit now. (Google is not better, but important, crucial difference is, that Android is open-source and there are forks, namely GrapheneOS, but also others, who 1. completers and 2. provide open, permissionless alternative.) I can run ungoogled Android OS with any app I want. I cannot do the same with Apple.

In OsmAnd it is very useful to display more details. I have it on for all profiles (walk/car/bike/browse). You have to set this on for every profile you want this. Go to Configure map -> Select profile you want to edit -> scroll all the way to the bottom -> Details -> Turn on the More details. You can also turn on some extra stuff there as well.

At OsmAnd you can (and should) download slopes, hillshades and contour lines. You just go to Download Maps, then you select region and beside standart map you also download Contour lines, hillshades and slopes.

Start using OpenStreetMaps. The map is much better then GoogleMaps, I have GMaps only to check restaurant, which are not covered well on OpenStreetMaps. 1. Download

2. It's local first app, so you have to download the map of the area. 3. OsmAnd has a bit harder UI but there is so much features. 4. The important thing is to realize that you have multiple UI profiles (for car/war/bike/...). So you can set different level of detail to see and define for yourself what is relevant for you in given situation. More tips in upcoming posts.

Thanks a lot to @Avi Burra for making it happen. So many great nostriches. 3. @BTC Prague was great, the expo just exceeded all my expectations. 4. Now I have a +100 todos to my never-ending to-do list.

#[0] is everything OK? For some time I have a problems with your channels. Channel to Wallet of Satoshi node comes online nearly immediately, but channels to LNBIG take a lot of time and sometimes they never work. Seems random. I have channels to lnd-7/old-lnd and lnd-3. Thanks!
