It is such a rewarding to build something physical. I am building/improving my house and every gadget, every project done here is such a reword. Once I am done here, I probably start building another one...

I was planning to have a diesel generator as a backup in my household in case shit hits the fan. Problem is, that diesel degenerates over time and has to be replenished frequently. Solution can be that you tank it into car from storage and refill fresh fuel. But I think I found another solution: propane. It can be stored basically indefinitely and there are electricity generators that runs on both diesel and propane.
