Great two days at @npub1knvg...lg29. Not only did I meet other bitcoiners in the flesh, but I meet people who are on nostr. I feel fortunate to get to do that. Today I ate lunch with someone on nostr who, like me, has spent sats with @SoapMiner and @Great Ghee. That was super cool! And they #zapsnag some wine from @Ben Justman🍷 a few days back. Great day. - Meet bitcoiners in the flesh at @npub1knvg...lg29 and had some great conservations. - Several walks with a be dog to get in the steps to 10,000 sats for the @npub17kwj...jl36 challenge. It was so cool to those sats come in. - The fancy dinner with the high schooler was the highlight of a great day. Hanger steak is always my go to when it’s on the menu. Great day. I rode the stationary bike and spent 45 min with @Maple AI trying to figure out how to make a solar set up to power #bitaxe miners. Definitely not worth the cost in terms of ROI but it would be fun to do. I just gave someone who does a small amount of freelance work for me a small raise. It feels great, and it’s a meaningful bump for them, but it also begs the question: Do I need to build a bigger business so I can pay more people? I’m blessed that the business itself helps people in a direct way, but it’s “solopreneur” business - just me, one assistant and one contractor. It’s small and elegant, but it’s only helps three people. Something to consider. (I’m not sure I’d have asked this question four weeks ago, before I was on #nostr)

Here’s a book I read every morning. Pressfield’s “The War or Art” is a must read for anyone staying a new project, as well as people in the arts. “The Daily Pressfield” explains the steps an author goes through to bring a book into the world, but this process can be applied to anything where you’re creating something out of nothing. What a treat to start the day with a bit of Pressfield wisdom. And the illustrations are exceptional too. #GM #bookstr
