The HRF AI Hackathon at Bitcoin Park left me with three big takeaways. First, I’m more bullish than ever on building freedom technology for the people who need it most, human rights activists and freedom fighters. These tools matter, and they make a real difference. Second, modern AI-powered software development is absolutely incredible. Huge shout-out to OpenCode and Shakespeare (and Claude Opus 4.5). Our team could not have taken second place without them. And finally, we need a Nostr AI Hackathon. What our team was able to build by being locked in a room together for a sleep-deprived weekend was both fun and astonishing.
