🚨 CONTROVERSIAL TAKE 🚨 Everyone in the Bitcoin space pushes to get AWAY from platforms like YouTube and use platforms like Nostr more. A big driver of this push has been value for value. I've received $200 from super chats in the past month on YouTube and have received less than 5k sats in the passed month. This does not include YouTube Adsense or anything I've made from sponsorships, strictly from fans on YouTube sending during livestreams. How do we as a community shift this? Currently it is unsustainable for content creators to 'live on zaps' alone so the sponsorship model seems to be the only way. Are we just early?
