Inside your gut there’s a Mexican standoff of different bacteria keeping each other at bay
Inside your mind there’s a trio or so of primal drives keeping each other at bay
Every ecosystem that functions properly is a series of checks and balances keeping its elements in balance
Bitcoin is money for enemies keeping each other at bay. Get yourself some and harness a natural phenomenon

“Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves, man?”
It’s funny that the moment Trump said “Have fun playing with your Bitcoins” actually marked the end of the period that Bitcoin could be considered anything like a world unto itself. It reacts to the world now, and the world uses it to express positions on global events.
I think it’s rare statistically speaking, but if an addict quits their habit and replaces it with exercise they become an absolute psychopath in the gym. I’ve met three, all of them dudes from 40-60 years old. Maniacs about cardio and strength both
I’m a all set cobra jet a creepin thru the nighttime
Guess I never thought about the bridge between atoms and bits being a two way street. Proof of work inscribes physical energy into the digital realm, but then cold storage protects digital value from digital threats too.
On one end of the spectrum there’s MSTR True North and at the other there’s Nostr. I haven’t seen a lot of overlap
Encountered a guy with a hat that said “Class War Veteran” who was making excuses as to why he wasn’t able to hold up his end of an agreement we’d made. I had to go chase him down to ask why it wasn’t happening too. Bummed me out, made me think of Atlas Shrugged, made me want to work harder in my own life
“A viler evil than to murder a man is to sell him suicide as an act of virtue.”
What about an LLM I can feed my chess games (failures) into that will analyze them and provide me with a personalized coach?
Sometimes when someone makes a comment about how expensive things are, I try to casually drop the phrase “a dollar just doesn’t go as far as it used to” or “the dollar ain’t what it used to be,” but no one ever bites. I think most people don’t think to look behind the inflation door, or don’t even think you can look behind it at all. They don’t know that if you go far enough through that door you end up here on Nostr zapping freedom money around, certain of Valhalla
Fiat egregore very grown, confiscating people’s energy and time and entrusting it to only a chosen few viceroys
Bitcoin egregore is a small thing, but it’s freeing people.
Someday they’re gonna face off
Watched Volver, the Almodovar movie tonight. Not even sure how you come up with an idea for a film like that
Ten year don’t care

Shoggadoo shoggadoo
A decent sized obstacle to Bitcoin adoption is that so many people have no concept of money they’re saving for more than a week or two, let alone years or decades
I guess the word “tariff” hasn’t been bandied about as much as right now for about 100 years. I hope it’s causing at least some of us to try to learn how the global economy works and has (not) worked vis-a-vis Americans during that time. I’m just amazed at the levels of subconscious “that’s just the way it is” I encounter out there and in myself, and I think Bitcoin has made me more aware of it
Watched Dog Day Afternoon
What a tangible movie
Kind of funny
Never seen anything like it
It’s damn near a stage play
RIP Val Kilmer

Quite the rough stretch we’re in

The covid pandemic doesn’t seem worthy of being at the bottom of this bounce toward higher lows. All the American history that came prior to that seems more significant to me.
It likely would have bounced regardless though; the response to the pandemic was just the match that lit the bonfire
