I spend 5 minutes a day reading “the news.” I use Kagi News thanks to the recommendation from @ODELL. It’s amazing how in only 5 minutes I can have a gauge of everything that has happened in the past 24 hours. I kept Twitter for years because I “needed” it to know what was going on in the world. The reality is, 99% of the time I spent there was useless. Kagi + Nostr is the way.

Germany has a nutrition score system in their grocery stores. Chocolate filled cereal is healthier than butter. The propaganda in Germany against animal products and animal fats is astounding.

I need some help: I own part of an HVAC company with 30 employees. I want to switch our company to Square for payments so we can start accepting Bitcoin. We are too large and it has been too complicated to use some of the other solutions out there until now. I want to begin educating our employees and technicians about Bitcoin. What are your best ideas to do that? Has anyone onboarded their employees to bitcoin? I want to empower the employees via bitcoin, but have to do so in a way that recognizes that they will not have the knowledge or conviction that I have and will not be immune to volatility like I am. Thoughts and ideas? Please repost. I’m about 1/10 on getting merchants to accept bitcoin. They think I’m crazy. I think the majority of them will enable it by next year.

I live in one of the fastest growing areas in USA. There are around 1.5 million people in the area. I got one coffee shop to turn on bitcoin payments via Square. They are the only ones in the area with Bitcoin payments enabled. And I’m the only one who has paid them in bitcoin. This needs to change. Why would a merchant turn on bitcoin payments if there is no benefit to them? We need bitcoiners to go spend Bitcoin and use it as a medium of exchange. We need merchants to benefit from turning on bitcoin payments.

I hate everything that $naka is doing but the contrarian in me desperately wants to throw 10k at some long options right here 😬
