It's been such a mind-expanding 15 months. May last year, I didn't know if I was crazy but I wondered if it was possible to start a tech company without a tech cofounder. My experience at my last startup was an eye opener. 50% of equity to a technical lead to get started, another 25% to get the first funding to hire a technical team, and that got me underway but holding <33% of my own company. By the time I listed it, <15%. By the time I stepped back from it <7%. And over the course of all that time, the biggest share of the capital raised was for technical development. So – "Can you start a tech company without technologists now?" was a crazy question. Impossible, clearly. Except, you know, maybe worth a shot? Claude Code was not yet generally available. Even the term "slop" hadn't been created yet. But here we are. Just 15 months later and for a total of ~$100K. Shosho is V1 and *everyone* knows that not only is it possible, it's just the way things are now. The mind expanding part. Yes – It's crazy that this can be done at all BUT – IMO the crazier thing is the second order effects, and I think we're still working them out. E.g. a customer asks for something, and instead of making a note, tabling at the next meeting, putting in the backlog, arguing it through backlog grooming into sprint planning, and only then it even gets looked at – How fast were your companies before? That's a multi-week process almost everywhere – instead you forward the customer's message to your agent harness from your phone while on a walk and say "I'm AFK, address this and raise a PR, I'll check it tomorrow." Time on the desk until something is POC can be literally 0. Or, take it further, a customer needs something, and the *customer builds it themselves*. ... In summary in 15 months we've gone from new tech creation being something that cost $M of capital and >50% of equity in every new venture, to something that costs ~$000k's, is now on the way to $0, and THEN is on the way to being something that customers do for themselves without needing tech companies at all. It's a "sovereign-individual" sounding future, and IMO it's just get started. </rant> TLDR: - Just 15 months ago the idea of building a top tier-like streaming product for Nostr would require capital formation and $M, and years, now 15 months and ~$100K. - Last year, the idea that it could go to $0 and be done by the customers themselves was crazy, but now everyone knows it's coming. - What happens next is very "sovereign-individual" and I'm glad we're all here for it. Do you know what is the best part of building on Nostr? It’s you guys. This community is why Nostr is worth building on and for. I am about to update Shosho’s App Store listings for the V1 release and wanted to feature people from the community in the art, because the community is what makes this all worth doing. Before I feature you I want to ask: Are you happy for your pictures/lives/shops to be shown in this way in Shosho art? If you prefer not to be shown please let me know and I will replace you, it's no problem at all. The art will look something like this: image I am also very happy to hear any other feedback you have. Thanks for your support and looking forward to the V1 release! @HWTexas @BitPopArt @inpc @ivy lumi @NoGood ✌️ @S!ayer @Joe Martin @marykateultra @TheGrinder @Kieran @fiatjaf

Hi @Ricardo Martinez @Fork The System I would love to know how you discovered Shosho and what you're using it for. Are you recording a pod with us? And distributing it somewhere?
