After a nice little trip to the countryside, some of the original wiring got pulled on and several things stopped working… flood lights, fog lights, door light and overhead light 😆 But yesterday my friend helped me fix everything and put in extensions so they are ready for some serious off-roading 🙌🏼🤟🏼😎

My 80 Series Land Cruiser is now a sound studio on wheels 🔊🤠🤟🏼 Double layered the doors, wheel wells, the front and rear searing area… the different in the quietness of the ride is huge. Installed a 1200W 4way amp under the captain’s chair, 6.5” speakers with tweeters in the front + rear and wired in the subwoofer cables for when the camping unit is finished for an easy final install… This vibration dampener should help drastically reduce noise from the road + tires + traffic entering the cabin as well as keep out the heat and keep the cold air inside… Next step is installing fresh insulation and then putting the interior back together. Then I’ll be buying newer seats with electric controls and black leather from a 2020 or newer luxury vehicle and building a custom support so I can connect them… once that is done I’ll accent the interior with black leather and the basic build will be complete Then on to the camping kit build & more off-roading modifications 😎 #toyota #1HDT #HDJ81 #landcruiser #80series #offroad #4x4 #vanlife #overlander
