While AI may represent the end of the clip art industry, and allows you to get pictures that make the exact point you’re looking for (unsure what point I’m trying to make here, other than bitcoin and border collies good), at the moment, there isn’t the depth or realness in these images. Where is the “alea iacta est” underneath the image?…… ah wait, time to spend a credit on another image or an edited version of this, while will likely be noticeably worse for the edit!!!! Then, read some AI slop the students are submitting and you realise, the human drive to produce something of value is quite simply missing.

For writing and research, other than a replacement to Wikipedia, AI isn’t the best, but using it to create images, not necessarily art, but images that make you smile is awesome. Having a little fun while working on cover art for my book and asked it a few questions. People say money can’t buy you happiness, but in the space of one or two images, I realised that with probably significantly less than £15 grand, a bit of luck getting the dog I want, and finding an appropriate car, I have a high degree of confidence that making this image a reality would definitely contribute to an increased level of happiness. #bikestr #dogstr #porsche924str

Japan feels like a ticking time bomb, 10y yield on a stairway to heaven, highest for 25y, desperately trying to find a true rate more similar to those around the world. BoJ continually makes intervening to keep rates low, but by doing this they are pushing the problem further into the future. Then as currency value slides, risks of import price increases create massive inflationary risks. Bond rates continue to rise, while 30y debt may be locked in, these increases will gradually notch up government interest expenditure, until that eventually pops and bankrupts the government, bonds start getting sold, even if it is the sensible options and all bests could be off.
