Absolutely love reading normie media, with the “generation rent” author Vicky Spratt lording over the asset holders with their wealth being unfairly accumulated at the expense of the renters, becoming “incredibly rich”. They are planning on stealing the paper value of houses that have gone up in value as a result of money printing, to pay for the wealth fare of “generation rent” but also “generation benefits”. If any of this goes ahead it is going to get wild, people will be either taking on loans to pay these taxes or ditching their expensive houses for ones that fall below the threshold (meaning their prices will rise). Real real issues with these holier than thoughtfully journalists gaslighting the ill informed, and the political class threatening everyone else. Scary times in the Uk, I for one, not too worried, will ditch my house no problems, if only I was able to keep it and rent it out, but Labour have already taken out that option. image

Gm nostriches. #coffeechain and hydration locked in. While doing the fiat slop thing on LinkedIn yesterday found something that just made sense in relation to BTCTC. Who benefits from them, who are the biggest share holders? So, utxo management is one (oh Bitcoin magazine, you’re not doing well in my eyes this week), the other, the founder’s family. While I appreciate they have placed buys, I would think most of the 9% holdings were printed, with any share price increase resulting for the retail pump that took place earlier in the year. I didn’t buy at a peak, I just put a little in to support the process of a British mstr, but 77% down is offensive. Who benefits? Those closest to the money printer, and for completeness, they are also the ones with any access to those sweet sweet coins they purchased with YOUR money. But at least I can bank the tax loss…… I’m much more interested in this companies that have a value adding business and simply choose to save in bitcoin…… stop re purposing the world best asset for your fiat mind games.

Now ms Reeeves, exactly how to you plan to “defy gloomy forecasts”? Optimism, cognitive dissonance, vibes, more tax, more regulations, or actually getting out of the way of individual ingenuity, creativity and drive, and then allowing people to benefit from their efforts rather than taking it from them and giving it to the less productive in the society? Have a hunch that it won’t be the latter. image

Been a while since I’ve read anything on bitcoin mag, but seeing this, I’m actually interested to learn where Shinobi’s coming from……….. I thought knots was primarily an alternate implementation with a range of user settings not restricted….. open source software surely promotes alternate implementations, rather than restrict them. The Core true believers feel wounded and fighting very hard for changes they say aren’t that significant. She doth protest too much.

Gm nostriches, lectures finished for the module for another year. Hope I was able to connect with some of them, didn’t stray into the explicit “free speech” domain, but I think I got my point across thanks to Rosenberg’s awesome quote. Research isn’t just something loser boffin’s do in labs, it’s what the pioneers do (🫡🙌 @Bugle.News #40HPW🎧 ), when building conviction, it’s what we do when responding to normie slop, and “people” might not like it, and that is absolutely fine. The slide after this, I let them know the “treasure hunt” I’ve been going on about for weeks is actually related to bitcoin……. Now to see if someone can actually connects the dots and wins/takes 75k sats (out of my own pocket). @HODL channelling your don’t give a fuck attitude, in my own whiny British way. 🫡🙌

Gm nostriches, watching the news this morning, shock 😮 horrors about the awful companies using shrinkflation, scimpflation or greedflation (WTF) to sell smaller products for sometimes more money…….. the consumer “expert” was clueless, unsurprisingly. Worse still, one of the presenters used to be economic secretary to the treasury, he should know better. Massive issue with this misinformation and focusing on the greedy corporations, although good there was a less price sensitive small business owner, but didn’t mention about her profit margins being squeezed…. When the value of the currency declines (commodity prices increase) what do they do? 1) Put up prices? Lose customers 2) sell smaller products? Get this backlash from tv idiots wanting them to be more transparent. 3) do nothing until you make a loss on the products you sell? Go out of business!!!! Balancing a little shrinkage with smaller increases in prices is the logical way forward for them, but not printing money rather than growing more cocoa/ ditching inflation currencies would also be good. And for the love of god, don’t blame the billionaires, these companies are publicly traded, when owned by the family cadburys was a much better company that actually sold chocolate!!! image

Gm nostriches, making the most of the newly light morning while it lasts with #coffeechain, back into the fiat grind this morning, ready to send some final years students out into the wild with their research……….. Now, will what I say light a spark or be just another “this is an opportunity” speech where they shut off. Little do they know this is their future career they need to face and whether their lives will be little more than VR, Netflix and jerking off!!! Also, budget fun is closer than you think!

Comes around so quickly, just after starting my lectures, I’m already at week 6, the final lecture. Bitcoin treasure hunt, still unclaimed, 75k sats worth….. Now, to fire them up before they really get into the project; Quote 1; Andrew Garfield Quote 2; The Goal by Eli Goldratt Quote 3; A lodging of Wayfaring Men. Question is, will it be enough to get disillusioned final year undergraduates to want to actually go and do some work, who cares about them, I’ll be fired up. But the big question is @HODL , am I brave enough to mention the ideas of free speech in a British educational institution!?!?!?

Gm nostriches, great to see Labour having their 100plus year streak of fooling the boyos and ex miners into voting for them, but from what I’ve learnt, Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, a nationalist party for open boarders and a state of sanctuary for immigrants, may actually be worse!!!!! Saying that, by elections are often a protest against the incumbent, impressive showing for Reform, but my vote for the Senedd next year would be to abolish the expensive, destructive talking shop all together. Put in place by Labour to buy their votes, another Tony Blair political crime. 🫡🙌 image

Gm nostriches, treated myself to a new frying pan yesterday, ceramic coated (looks like a plate!!!), but cask iron, maybe controversial. Need to refine my technique and was pretty messy after I was done, but it did what was most important, daughter; “the steak was really good, really well done”. 😘😍 image

Done the work, allocated resources appropriately, now I can simply wait, well, read atlas shrugged twice a year and then wait. Don’t wait until you’re forced to learn, but the Normies are too busy complaining about their lack lustre payrise, “getting on the property ladder” and expensive soy based products. image
