GM My sons class was tasked with writing a letter to the principal to request more recess and how they would utilize the extra time. He wrote a paragraph on the need for extra time to walk around and think....when I asked him if that is how he is utilizing his current recess and he said "yeah most of the boys are into sports and video games, after I climb a little on the rock wall I like to walk around and think." Nurturing his old soul is a task I take very seriously as his dad. Balancing pushing him to not settle, and have the confidence to leisurely push his thoughts into existence is a blessing.
