I unfollow and never zap people I see in my feed begging for zaps and whining about zap sizes. Done it for years. V4V means you don't get to decide what I think your meme is worth. Go check the receipts, follows are public. I found out one of the usual beggars was at it again through boosts and 3rd party commentary. I think zap whoreing is so annoying I typically try to avoid even mentioning zaps. No real way to say what needed to be said without it this time.

Nostr needs to be more than an X clone. I don't mean short form blogging, I'm fine with that. I mean that I'm finding myself more and more disappointed by how many of the people on nostr are in the fight for freedom in word only and not in a principled way. Musk yells free speech while censoring. Too many here yell freedom then cheer the government when it overreaches in a way that your high time preference brain thinks will be good for you tomorrow. Same thing as far as I'm concerned.

Trump keeps releasing files related to various conspiracy theories to distract from Epstein. If we assume he wants a distraction but to continue to lie to the public, we learn a lot by what he offers. What files hasn't he offered to release? Those are likely the ones with real secrets. The ones he offered are probably all nothing.
