Balaji seems to need a lot of attention, he was wrong with his 1m bet, he was wrong about Covid, not a good track record for an "expert".
Listened to two of your recent TFTC episodes back to back while trimming trees yesterday. Felt good to do physical labor and experience intellectual growth simultaneously. Keep up the good podcasting work. Ideas spread.
Suggest reading the house of Rothschild by Niall Ferguson. It is a two book series but goes all the way from the ghetto of Frankfurt to the foundation of the state of Israel. Saifdean did a podcast episode with him. Great stuff. Will be watching your new episode later on!
I’m halfway through….gonna eat and take a nap for round 2.

Balaji has an interesting way of framing things. His candor and straightforwardness might come across as arrogance. But I believe the more his message sinks in and is transmitted, the healthier we might end up at the other end of the coming crisis.

This RIP with Balaji provided me with unparalleled insight into the socio-economic state of America and its internal and external struggles. I am grateful to Marty for this RIP because I finally took the time to listen to a long-form show with Balaji. My previous critical comments on some of his interviews and statements were off track, possibly due to my lack of context. I much enjoyed this show.
