Why do I need Alby and Alby Hub?
I run my own node, I rarely use Lightning.
Just trying to determine if it's worth my while to set it up!

NWC is pretty cool. You can take your wallet with you to all the apps.

Nostr wallet connect, it allows you to take your wallet with you to any of the apps that support it.
