I started return of the king by mistake and didn’t realize I was watching the wrong movie until 10 minutes in. Saw some spoilers too smh

Finally finished fellowship of the ring last night, it was pretty good. I thought two towers might be shorter but it’s actually 4 hours long. Starting now 😭🙃

Well, it’s still the greatest trilogy even with your accident. My wife and I are halfway through the hobbit trilogy rn. They’re great too. I wish they would make The Silmarillion into a trilogy.

I grew up with episodes IV-VI on vhs. We watched those movies over and over, again and again… I think it’s just engrained in me and I’m nostalgic for it. LOTR, Harry Potter, and Star Wars just stay in my movie rotation.

The first one tried to be a horror film, but accidentally came out as a comedy. The second one, they decided for some intentional comedy. It's the worst one, but has some important elements that sets up the third. The third one, they realized what they were actually making, and went full comedy. @Raven M can't stand horror and says, "It's worth trying."

"The first" is actually Episode 4. Episodes 4, 5 and 6 are good. 1, 2 and 3 were not liked when they came out, but then 7, 8 and 9 came out and people realized that 1, 2 and 3 were actually not that bad and things could get way worse.
