I still think the reactive method shouldn’t be removed from the BIP. It’s a fallback if plan A fails, and I get the sense it’s the one that unsettles the bad actors the most.

I'd rather we didn't use that activation method if possible. Practically guaranteed chain split. Smooth planned upgrade is better.
I don’t think anyone wants that. It’s reserved for a worst case scenario.
