Homeschooling means your 9 year old can learn how to vibe code at 1pm because they’re curious, not because it’s in the curriculum.
Learning out of genuine curiosity beats learning on schedule every single time.

How did you learn to home school? I want to do this for my kid but don't know where to start.
I just read OpenEd which is a fresh take on homeschooling. Also Bitcoin Homeschoolers with FreeMarketKids is a great podcast. Sometimes just starting with a traditional homeschooled approach is the good place to start. Basically identify the school subjects and pick a curriculum that matches well for your family. It can give you confidence and place to start while you build the parent teacher relationahip and then from there they can branch off and do some amazing things for your kids and family and forge your own path... Also, the Homeschooled Loft podcast interviewed someone from just about every US state about their laws and how to get started in each place.
Basically, you learn by doing as a homeschooled parent!
