Got a kick of my teen. He calls using the heel strap on crocs 4-wheel drive. And he said if its tastes wrong or it tastes too good to be true, its bad for you.

My mom was never a big advice giver but she did tell me once most women think they need make up, but really they just need to smile more. She was so right!

Playing DJ for my toddlers is my new favorite mom gig. Especially when it involves drinking my morning coffee at the same time.

I just stumbled across a google doc of all the Magic School Bus books organized into a years long curriculum for homeschooling families. Ummmmm, yes. I was homeschooled and swear all my science knowledge, as sad as this might seem, that I remembered, came from Magic School Bus or Bill Nye. Sure, I did other science and participated in a weekly co-op just for science- BUT- don't remembered what I learned. Each week:, includes the book, video since they made it into a show, a nonfiction science book, a writing prompt, and project, and a brainpoop clip to go with it. Good for ages up to 4th grade, I think.
