Reusing proven tech is like eating whole foods, efficient and effective.
I am not familiar with that. I was talking based on my own experience building an events app. There are many things like selling tickets, checking people in, creating gated events, waitlists... That Nostr doesn't have to do within it's protocol, but should be tackled connecting payment processor systems (wether fiat or Bitcoin), create databases of attendees, etc. Things that don't have to be part of the Nostr code, since there will be other event apps that will offer some other features and, in the end, the market will choose which apps to use for each purpose. When we expect Nostr to become the everything protocol, we are fostering comunism, where there is one unique and universal truth, and whoever is outside of it is considered wrong.
