Early adopters. Not sure if we are at the chasm yet

Innovators. And without a growing and consistent inflow of users the chasm is far out.

I concur on the location, but the time frame is nebulous. How impactful to your life is it to get bitcoin over the chasm in that timeframe?

Do you know of people who have completely abandoned it for now and are in a different section?

The tipping point is unclear for anyone for sure, where do you think we can focus our energies the best to help more people see the light, or is that even our challenge being an innovator or EA?

I think we are already doing what we can. There’s plenty of education out there for anyone who wants to search. I try to talk to people I come into contact with and I think every bitcoiner is doing the same thing. Little by little peoples minds will be changed. But the majority won’t come il until it’s easy and commonplace for bitcoin to be used. Unfortunately they won’t benefit as much but you can lead a horse to water but can’t force it to drink. IMO our duty is to make people aware and establish touch points that get people to think. Being too forceful/religious will only push people away

I like the idea of touch points, people can always zap us for services or products we provide on here at least 😇

Absolutely. If I think of when I got into bitcoin, it was first using it for gambling. That was touchpoint #1. Then several years later I had a friend tell me about crypto - #2. Then #3 was my uncle (who isn’t known for being bright) telling me he bought bitcoin on cashapp. Finally after all that I did the research. If some maniac bitcoiner told me before my first touchpoint that I should buy bitcoin then I wouldn’t have believed them.

i'm in no rush personally but from speaking to normies, it seems that etfs reduce a lot of the perceived risk, and key management seems too intimidating to many in the early majority 😥

Yeah...maybe we could carry other currencies and try to pay for things with them, then show people how easy it is to accept sats 🤷‍♂️. Anyone got some Yen I can carry in my wallet in America 🤣
