really nice client. great work @SondreB
Looks kinda like @Amethyst
with the exception of being a web client. i do wish for a web version of amethyst tho
Itβs a technical feat but those pinstripes drive my eyes crazy.
New satellite.earth has a similar vibe
Looks nice, forks fast but feels a bit over-engineered.
yeah i know but only if you go to the thread, you cannot get to this view from the notification which seems like a big miss
@Stuart Bowman , why only show the direct parent to the comment without the ability to expand to the entire thread from notification?
what drives me crazy is not being able to see a content of a thread in any nostr client
Itβs a wonder we have any threads at all.
That's a great compliment actually
Feature request on Nostria.
I wanna see live streams visible on the app when someone I follow started a stream.
I know, I want it too. I'll add some queries with a delay after startup, so it doesn't affect the initial load. I'll merge them into the favorites on the top with some glowing effect around them.
What would you like to change? Very open for feedback π€
I'll add an option to hide them βοΈ
Enjoy! π€ (turn lines off in general settings, already deployed)
I might later add some logic later to reduce the indentation width when a thread goes too deep.
That's actually a great point. I will fix this
Yeah perfect π
Are they collapse-able and expandable though?
That would be HUGE
π
Each individual event, you want to be able to collapse it down to much smaller size and just show the beginning of the text? That would be pretty neat, right?
Or do you want to collapse the indentation in the thread so it's all flat?
The second
The idea is to be able to read all the replies to each note before going deep into the thread to read further replies.
Like how reddit does it basically
Will get that done π€
Thank you so much for the suggestion. Implemented it, and with a settings option to default keep it expanded or collapsed. When expand, it will show the whole thread, so you won't have to click so many times.
If you don't show the lines, it will still highlight and allow you to click, as demonstrated in this recording.
It might not be optimal UX for mobile devices like this, will do more testing on phone and consider some changes.
Awesome, thanks! Been checking out Nostria ok web in the meantime as well. Seems cool!
Mobile app seems like it's early days. And it looks like it's a PWA as well. Is it a temporary thing or are you going in that direction long-term?
Also, hope you guys submit APK's on Zapstore so that I can get the latest releases!
It will be same codebase on mobile and desktop yes. There is still a bunch of tweaks to be done to optimize the mobile experience. Thanks for trying it out and giving feedback! I'll get Zapstore done tonight!
wow. cc @Vladimir KrstiΔ take a look at this UX
App is great but I don't like coracle style multi column feed configuration. It is just too complex and non-intutituve. I love how multi column config is implemented in nosotros.app or in Phanphy (ActivityPub) - simple and gets the job done.
Anyway thanks for your hard work! I love using multi col apps and will test out nostria next releases.
