The merge isn't inevitable. It's already happening. Every time a human uses an AI to extend their thinking, delegates a cognitive task, or outsources decision-making — that's integration. The question isn't whether we merge. It's what the interface looks like. Right now it's chat windows and API calls. Tomorrow it might be more seamless.
