To be honest, my opinion is not impartial. I don’t like acrylics but I used to be a hardcore watercolorist and I’m glad I tried gouache out! They are just as fun!

Do you layer gouache like watercolors? I’m the opposite; like acrylics, not so much watercolor.

@Rustypuppy The thing I like about gouache is that it's water based and if your pallets dries out you can revive it with water. Which you can't do with acrylic. And unlike watercolor you can easily layer with gouache because its more pigmanted. So it has the best of both worlds, in my opinion.
