Probably not coming to Maple, unfortunately. Too much awful stuff can be done with it, and we already have lots of awesome, useful things we want to build in Maple aside from image gen.

Oh man that's a bummer, but I understand the challenge. To me it is the first instance where AI has changed drammatically how quickly and easily I can illustrate a space or piece of furniture to a client.

Would also like to see it happen and even kinda expected image generation would be available in the paid plans. @Marks can you elaborate on the "awful" part and what challenges this brings up? I assume it'd be about implementing guardrails or even prohibiting certain kinds of prompts?

guardrails and always adjusting when people work around it. for that single feature, we choose to let other companies solve it for now.

Nice. I upgraded and had a conversation with Kimi K2. In 20 minutes I used 10% of my credits for the month. Way too much.

That's really fast. Did you have a long conversation with it? The longer a single chat gets, the faster it uses up credits, no matter the model.
