Until mempools never clear and you've simply stacked sats without UTXO management. Now your daily DCA costs more than it's worth to spend.

yes but how to DCA now? DCA is not an LN thing.
I guess so long as you can set the fees just set em low and who cares how long it takes to clear if you DCA, just the service needs to repost them if they fall out of the mempool. Or keep a really big mempool.
Probably a business idea in that.

Same…kind of. I didn’t even know what UTXO mgmt meant until hearing @ODELL and @Marty Bent preach about it. Still paid 6.5sat/vB, though…lessons learned.
Every kind of high volume smaller transactions that results in small UTXOs. Your wallet shows one balance but due to high fees on each UTXO, what you can actually spend may end up being significantly less
