It's a bit of a dirty word. Peoppe assume it means buying the lamest influencer to talk about nostr. When really that wouldn't even be effective. (Also 'word of mouth' is considered marketing lol) I think I would like to see nostr sponsorship and more links with cultural events, communities which are already here, or already aligned with it's values, for example. There's Meshtastic, permaculture, privacy, Siamstr, homeschooling, etc etc. Do we need a nostr booth in another bitcoin conference? Not sure. Maybe. But I think it would be exciting to see a nostr booth in eg a privacy conference, a farmer's market next to the honey sellers:) etc etc. (I say this fully admitting that I can't do this sort of thing, so it's easy for me to say lol) Just as an idea: View quoted note →
