This hits hard. My terminal social media consumption for over 2 decades has definitely killed all my joy to experience the world. There are no surprises any more, you think you have already seen everything and you think that 90% of everything is just god awful stupidity and misery. Raising my daughter is what pulled me out of that mindset. Seeing the world through her eyes, almost like having a second chance at being a child again, saved me.
