oh. i see. now im wondering how adderall works like that. i would tho prefer not to do “drugs” and have actually been thinking a lot about even totally quitting the light ones that i still use, caffeine and weed. but maybe i will need to think about trying adderall later on. idunno. ✨🙏✨🤗✨

it was very surprising to me. i had never considered that I might be affected by adhd, but I eventually realized that some everyday things continued to be difficult for me as an adult. i did a formal evaluation that confirmed it, and started adderall. it provided the state of mind that i associated with having coffee, but for 6 ~ 8 hours and with no jitters. where i had frequently needed to "warm up" before working on something, i would often just do it. there is some emotional suppression, but on a measured dose it isn't much and it's generally improved my patience with people. i was also worried about addiction, but it seems to be more of a dependence, like coffee had been for me. ymmv, but my wife agrees that it has broadly improved my life
