I intended no racisism when I wrote that. I think the concept of race is very misunderstood, especially in the Americas, where there are many mixed race people. What needs to be understood here is the concept of civilization(s).

Is Latin America part of the West?

Can we talk of a separate Latin American civilisation as distinct from Western civilisation?

@fiatjaf once again the moral question here is, do you consider there to be only one civilization?, which is what the western perspective would have you believe, and if you believe there are more than one, are they equal or not, and how would you measure them against each other.
