Can we really not discern the difference between bad broad policies that infringe on every American vs. specific law enforcement actions dealing with those who wish to veto the will of the people?

in 2001, the bush admin used the fear of terrorism to trample over the rights of all americans in 2009, the obama admin used the fear of terrorism to trample over the rights of all americans in 2020, the trump admin used the fear of covid to trample over the rights of all americans in 2021, the biden admin used the fear of covid to trample over the rights of all americans today, the trump admin is using the fear of illegals and commies to trample over the rights of all americans

Right. Because illegals are the same as citizens, communism totally isn't tyranny and a single person's actions is the same as a law effecting every single citizen. This is such lazy thinking. What is this bullshit arguement that if we don't give our country away to communism it will turn into a totalitarian state, as if that isn't what communism is.

No. I think your post conflates actual unconstitutional laws that I disagree with, for the legal and sensible deportation of illegals or the arresting of obstructionists. It is important to be able to see the nuance. Illegals aren't psyops like 9/11 or Covid. Immigration laws aren't a trojan horse for right wing totalitarianism. They are here illegally, we want them deported, we voted for it, there are laws on how to do so and it requires force. We don't need to equate past state infringements on citizens with the enforecment of basic immigration laws and the wishes of the electorate. The illegals are the ones infringing on the citizens not the state.
Why should Americans have to compete with illegal immigrants for jobs and housing? In the housing market immigration of all kinds drives up prices. In the labor market immigrants force Americans to compete with the entire world. Why is that a good thing in your mind? How do these examples not directly infringe on the notion of America being a nation?
