I think the meme works here, but won’t with the general public, as they have not yet grasped what fiat is. But, if you were to change it to your local currency ( dollar, euro, yen, kroner ) it would work. View quoted note → View quoted note →

Also to pair with that, i've had success comparing it to "taxation without representation". I think if you pair the fact that inflation is part of the reason there is no top, with the idea of inflation without representation and explain how its not only real but intentional, that will get some people to the next step. Linking frustration with money and frustration with those in charge....
