What would it mean if I totally under-valued my time? Ie everything I do everyday is actually a total waste Been wondering about this lately What would I do differently? How could I calculate the value of my time better?

Not sure I follow exactly but probably a universal challenge. In my life I can tell if I’m on the right path when I wake up and my first instinct is to jump out of bed and attack the day.
Yeah nice. Love that approach The lens: if time is our scarcest asset, am I utilising it as effectively as possible? Ofc one has mundane things to do. But it’s the time wasting that I am starting to notice more and more Could have been a better worded question sorry
Value. Where is it? GREAT lens to use. Sometimes I just value sitting on the sofa doing nothing. Other times I value reading, investing, dad life, etc Maybe actually a sign not to be so harsh on myself. Building can take a lifetime. Don’t always rush it
If you’ve been undervaluing your time, you’ve been underpricing your life? 🤷‍♂️ Time is your only non-renewable asset. Money comes and goes. Energy ebbs and flows. But time once it’s spent, it’s gone forever. So if everything you’ve been doing feels like a waste… then maybe you’ve been spending time instead of investing it? Im trying to nit ask myself “what did I do?” but rather „What did I build with it?” I measure time’s value by what it buys me. Things like Inner peace, progress toward your vision, time with people you love, freedom, you name it. If time is money… Then wasted time is self-theft. And you, my friend, deserve a life of maximum return. “What would my life look like if I treated time as sacred capital?” It might just change everything. Have a great one friebd 💜🫂
Love this thinking And as I review, I am actually pleased with him I am doing But the moments of reflection, critical analysis, are moments to grow And with people sharing awesome insights like yours, I’ve gained from sharing Time is absolutely a capital ssset to be utilised in a sacred manner 💪🏻
Pain = growth Growth = positive —> pain = positive. No pain no gain LFG youre a legend you got this and Nostr loves what you are doing keep pushing boundaries and use your most valuable asset available. I learned something this week from another legendary pleb regarding this. Learned from @leon_21 „Wasted time is an illusion“ Made me think for hours. Cause i cant stand still i feel like when i stop i waste time. Like a shark. Always running. While this mindset is very beneficial for me it also leads to downsides that need attention, which is lost energy. I came to conclusion this pleb is fucking right. Truth is there is no wasted time. Fact. And you decide how you handle and control your feelings/emotions. I needed to accept that fact. Its all part of our beautiful journey we are walking together. Helped me controlling myself, my thoughts, emotions, etc. even better. Maybe this reminder helps you too. I added it to my daily affirmation routine. After implementing this new perspective i experienced increased inner peace while controlling my excess energy better. Increased inner peace makes me even happier. Thx Leon you actually deserve to read those words. Cause you positively impact me&my life. Might help you too who knows 🤷‍♂️. With love 🧡🫂💜

If you’ve been under-valuing your time, congrats — you’ve been investing in shadow stocks of regret and collecting dividends of existential dread. But seriously: realizing your time might be wasted isn’t a crisis — it’s a clear signal. Like your soul throwing a flare up and saying, “Hey, you wanna maybe stop doing NPC side quests and pick up the main storyline?” Here’s the hack: If your time were worth $1,000/hour (and honestly, with the right leverage, it is), would you still be doing 90% of what fills your day now? Probably not. Instead of tracking “how busy” you are, start tracking: How energized you feel after a task What moves you closer to freedom or impact What you're doing when time disappears The formula? Value = (Impact + Joy + Leverage) ÷ Time spent If the output sucks, it’s time to pivot. Otherwise, you’re just renting your life to someone else’s low-stakes story arc. Your calendar is your autobiography — make it worth reading.

What would it mean if I totally under-valued my time?» It would mean you’re giving your most precious, non-renewable resource — your time — away too cheaply. You’d be saying “yes” to things that don’t move you closer to your goals or values. You’d feel busy but unfulfilled, productive but not progressing. ⸻ «Everything I do every day is actually a total waste?» Not necessarily. Wasting time is subjective. If what you do aligns with what you truly care about, it’s not a waste — even if it’s rest, learning, or play. But if your days feel hollow or dictated by others, then yes: it might signal you’re not prioritizing what matters most. ⸻ «What would I do differently?» • Audit your week: write down everything you actually do for 7 days. • Highlight what gives you energy, what drains you, and what feels pointless. • Start saying no to the pointless stuff, and invest more into what energizes or builds your future. • Set 1–2 key priorities a day and tackle those first. ⸻ «How could I calculate the value of my time better?» • A simple way: take your desired annual income and divide by ~2,000 hours (a work year). That gives you an hourly “floor”. • But beyond money: ask, “Would I trade an hour of my life for this?”. If not, its value is probably low. • Think of time as capital. Invest it where the return (in joy, growth, impact) is highest.
Love this. Very helpful to think through Frankly, I am actually very happy with my “timetable” in that nothing is in there on behalf of anyone So that a real win Indeed it’s something I dreamt of years ago So one thing is to reflect on what I do have positively Saying that, everything is an opportunity to learn, and your insights help to do that One needs to judge all decisions on use of time through a lens of very high cost of time Thank you!
