Cincy, Apple doesn't like apps running in the background probably because of battery use.
People would load a bunch of apps in the background, their phone would die in an hour, and they would blame Apple, so they are strict about it.
Android takes a more open approach, and allows it.
Apple should open up more, and at least let the user have the option and inform them of potential battery drain.

thanks for the context😃 as an iOS user I hope Jack and co figure out some kind of workaround. Not sure if that could ever happen though
