Is that a standard part of mints, or do you mean like send the owner an email?

I think it might be a standard part of cashu but i haven’t really done any ecash stuff so i have no idea
it's a standard part of all mints; this is NUT-05 to be specific ( 
).
Do note tho that cashu allows non-bitcoin denominated mints, so 1 cashu token may not always be 1 sat, depending on the mint
