Dave Smith
Tucker Carlson
Glenn Greenwald
Joe Rogan

My dumbass friends
Joe Rogan is good π
I donβt care about the others to know
Same.
Same, influencers are now a thing of the past
All of my outside of my home. I couldn't care less for the above you mention, complete strangers
Local business owners
Thatβs a great list. Glenn is interesting because heβs been heavily tied to Rumble for years, which is now rolling out its Tether/BTC wallet. He had Saifedean on a while back, but other than that I havenβt seen him communicate with any Bitcoiners. He might still be confused and put off by βcryptoβ.
I've been waiting on Glenn for years. I have seen him begin to grok it, but then he either leaned away or went quiet for opsec reasons.
I've been a fan of his since the Snowden story dropped. He was really far left, which makes understanding bitcoin an up hill battle, but he started to center out after getting cancelled for criticizing the trans movement (specifically for transitioning children).
Same + Family
Tbh, all of my friends and family members. That'd be more than enough for me.
I want less people to understand Bitcoin
I don't think of these people as influencers, but that could be splitting hairs.
They're the current outlines of a new decentralized media system which will get more decentralized over time. They are also my favorite characters in the current dialectic.
I've already orange pilled all of my friends and as many local business owners as possible. I see that as a given π
What's preventing you from orange pilling them?
He definitely wonβt grok it from an economic standpoint, heβs pretty Keynesian. If anything it will come from financial censorship or maybe Rumble v4v.
At least you have friends
Everyone is Keyesian until they wake up from the goo π
It's a slow process. First talk about how the system works. Create the dots.
And then slowly help connect them. Would prefer it if they had full conviction, slowly developed of their own accord.
Yeah there are many roads to the same goal. Personally I've found that explaining the issues of the fiat system is one of the hardest.
I generally start off by saying, "Dollars are expressly designed to lose value every year through inflation. Everyone knows that, we all experience that. Bitcoin doesn't have that issue. It's a smart idea to buy a little bit every week and start learning from there."
It's a chicken and egg problem. People don't want to learn about Bitcoin until they buy it and they don't want to buy it until they learn about it so I usually start with the first purchase.
That way when they hear news about it they feel a personal connection. Hope that helps π€
Aside from friends and family, Tim Dillon
Fair, Sydney Sweeney then. And maybe a leftie like AOC
Nick Fuentes

Joe Rogan has had long enough to learn this stuff. If he hasn't got it by now he's not going to make it.
Iβm seeing a pattern here π
He almost made the list. I think if all the names there get it he will too
Great idea
Nice
Boobies
dam u subconscious
Our subconscious only wants to help π«
Joe rogan one of us no?
Certainly not in any obvious way. There are a ton of excellent bitcoiners he hasn't had on yet and he never asks guests about it.
But I think he is trolling on bitcoin, he said that he believed in a fiat state controlled moneyβ¦
He didn't seem like he was joking in my opinion, but time will tell
Pretty sure Dave Smith is a bitcoiner.
Hasn't he spoken at Bitcoin conferences?
Not that I'm aware of
Bitcoin has a bad rep in the eyes of many in my circles. They might have softened their stance because I work full time in the industry. But I still avoid explicitly talking about it all the time.
Like you, I do have conversations about the second and third order effects of fiat like reducing standards and increasing costs of living despite technological progress, growing bureaucracy and public debt, and everything else we all know.
That way, when the time comes, they'll be able to put all the pieces together.
But when I'm asked 'Do I buy Bitcoin?' without the person having all this context, I say: 'Yes, but only if you're willing to hold for a minimum of 4-5 years, take the time learn about it and buy it in small amounts periodically. Else, it's probably better to stay away'.
He is. Look at old stuff of his for confirmation
That's a smart strategy. I've noticed that some people are ready to hear about it and they'll go research it like mad and others won't care no matter what I say.
Sometimes it's just like that. As I continue to liberate myself it makes it easier for others to see the benefits and challenge their assumptions.
Oh yeah, the way we carry ourselves and go about our lives can certainly have an impact on how people around us perceive Bitcoin
