I don't know if those who've been following me for a while have noticed that since January of this year, sales of my paintings have stopped.
I have.
My name is Carlo, I'm 56, I'm an Italian painter.
I used to work only as a graphic designer, now I dedicate much of my time to painting.
I built my reputation on Nostr over recent years, selling works to buyers worldwide without ever having issues.
I always worked with transparency and efficiency: Bitcoin payments, well-protected packaging with tracked shipments, no intermediaries, direct communication with updates at every stage.
But the new audience arriving today doesn't know this.
And they're right to be wary.
Bitcoin doesn't offer automatic protections like Amazon.
With direct payment, if something goes wrong, you have to trust that I'll resolve the problem.
It's a real risk, which I understand better than most because I take it too every time I buy something directly in Bitcoin.
Here's the truth: I don't want to convince anyone.
If you follow me and feel I can be trusted, good.
Otherwise, it's fine too, I understand.
Some people chose to trust and I thank them infinitely.
Read in these posts what they say, their satisfaction and how the paintings arrived:
The most important thing is the reputation I have here and that you know who I am.
I've been here for years.
I keep painting every day.
And the fact this board of satisfied buyer posts exists means many others already tried.
Thank you for your attention. ππ«π¨
