I know, but, sent is sent. It can't be unsent because typo but not unsent because other. IN PRACTICE there a DELETE request is built into the protocol. Not sure if any apps have implemented yet, but it's a REQUEST, so not enforceable. My take, most relays will act on the request - it frees up space. Some might only act on ones sent within the hour, which would stop people rewriting history the way they they do on twitter, while allowing accidents to be fixed. It's all very much a work in progress, but because it's a protocol, interesting things will be done :-)
