It's definitely got its own issues, but I don't think the population there would stand for mass migration like Britain has done. No one in my family there supports it. What's the tax situation there? I just got back from Krakow about an hour ago, I had to deal with ZUS while I was there and they were surprisingly helpful for what I needed, but it was pension related.
Grok says its currently 1926pln/month. Every registered business have to pay this, cab driver I was talking about this was really upset. He's working in small city so its hard for him to make a living out of that. When we spoke it was above 1,7k but that was in previous year. ZUS is black hole, there's rising deficit in there. State has to bring money into it every year. I don't have many bad experiences when dealing IRL with some gov bullshit but I do know that sometimes people have terrible experiences. Its great that, your case went smooth. I hope everyone will have same experience as you. Immigration as in west won't pass in Poland, there are normal immigrants (the ones who want to work)
