yeah David came up with the tapestry protocol. his ideas inspired the algorithmic feed I'm working on, but it doesn't require any additional protocol, just existing nostr list specs. it's similar to the social tagging that pubky has promoted, but tagging only profiles, not notes.
If you go to grapevine-brainstorm.vercel.app you can calculate personalized PageRank and personalized GrapeRank scores and export them in a format (NIP-85) that is easily accessible by clients. The about section tells you a little about it. NIP-85 is new. I don’t think anyone clients are using it yet. But hopefully they will soon! Work in progress: 1. personalized grapevine WoT relay that calculates those scores for you, stores them using NIP-85, and uses them to filter data that you keep on your relay. It will use strfry and neo4j, the most mature FOSS graph database that I am aware of. 2. Contextual GrapeRank scores, so your trust network can tell you who are the world’s most trustworthy sources on any given topic.
